Roger Mendoza is a storyteller who blends supernatural mystery, frontier grit, and metaphysical wonder into a unified narrative universe. Drawing from a lifelong fascination with ghost stories, western drama, and multi‑realm cosmology, Roger created The Lightborn Saga — a sweeping mythic series that spans generations, realms, and the eternal struggle between Light and Darkness.

He is also the author of the Dark Sheriff western series, where the seeds of his larger cosmology first took root. His work bridges genres, connecting the haunted past to the shadowed present in a way that feels both cinematic and deeply human.

My Story

Roger’s creative journey began with music, film, and storytelling long before he ever wrote his first novel. Over time, these passions converged into a single vision: a connected universe where every story — whether set in the 1800s or the modern day — echoes across realms.
